The Historic Residence Fontana has ancient roots, dating back to 1600, when the first foundations for an observation point over the surrounding area were placed there.

During the following two centuries the building was enlarged and it became the residence of the Fontana family, an important family of landowners from Erice, who used it as a basis for the management of their territories, which at that time extended from the Elimi Ericini area to the borders of today's San Vito Lo Capo.

The villa has been recently renovated and made into accommodation equipped with all mod cons but maintaining its nineteenth-century Sicilian character.

The Historic Villa, which extends over an internal area of 360 square metres, is located in the centre of a park full of greenery and centuries-old trees, extending over 10000 square metres.

The interiors consist of an entrance hall, a large, fully equipped, eat-in kitchen with exceptional period furniture, a large air-conditioned dining room (up to 12 comfortable seats), 2 large lounges, one of which has a panoramic open veranda equipped for outdoor dining, 4 bedrooms with double bed, 2 of which with private bathroom (all air conditioned), and 2 with shared bathroom, and one bedroom with a single bed (also air conditioned) and private bathroom, as well as 2 bathrooms serving the living area. A laundry room is also available to guests.

 

 

 

 

The immense outdoor spaces allow you to enjoy your summer holiday in complete relaxation. It has a recently built swimming pool for exclusive use (active from May 1st to October 31st, with the possibility of activation in advance or upon request) and a barbecue area.
